True Confessions Of A Hollywood Starlet

Aron Gold, Esq. READ TIME: 1 MIN.

The spunky fish-out-of-water/riches-to-rags yarn in True Confessions Of A Hollywood Starlet is not the usual Lifetime Original Movie formula, in that none of the women are beaten or otherwise mistreated, and that's a good thing. Experience the highs -- and Lohans -- of this comedy tale, as it's well worth a look.

Ingenue and uninym Jojo stars as Morgan Carter, a Lindsay Lohan-esque starlet whose out-of-control behavior lands her in rehab. After that fails, she's carted off to live with an estranged aunt, played by Valerie Bertinelli, in a normal suburb of America, where with a god dye job, nobody recognizes her.

After many trials and tribulations, Morgan learns to adjust to her new digs only to realize there was more to getting her out of Hollywood than just to clean her up in the first place. Will she make a big splash returning to tinsel town or should she just stay in burbs? Finding out is not a life-changing revelation, but uplifting, entertaining and well-acted trip is a fun ride nonetheless.
