Las Vegas hosts some of the most unique forms of entertainment in the world. Case in point: Le RÍve at Wynn Las Vegas.

Replacing the standard stage with a vast pit of water, the production redefines traditional theatre and effortlessly combines aerial acrobatics with ambitious aqua choreography. With incredible special effects and breathtaking performances, it will -- without a doubt -- make for an experience that audiences will remember for some time to come.

In French, "Le RÍve" means "the dream." Indeed, the production exudes a dreamlike ambiance, making it an appropriate match for its hotel home. Upon entering The Wynn’s phenomenal resort, a sense of casual elegance overcomes the guest. Immediate sights, sounds, and smells of elaborate water displays and extensive flower gardens awaken the senses and put the mind at ease.

...it will -- without a doubt -- make for an experience that audiences will remember for some time to come.

The Le RÍve Theatre, which forms a circle around the aqua stage, offers a visually stimulating aura and spacious, comfortable seats. With chairs no more than 12 rows from the action, the audience can indulge in the intimacy of the performances and witness the expressions and emotions on the faces of the actors.

Created by Franco Dragone, "Le RÍve" doesn’t exhibit a concrete story; instead, it simply demonstrates imaginative themes and ideas. Delivering a message that is largely open to interpretation, the production takes the audience on a journey through the dream of a young woman who longs for her seemingly distant lover.

Throughout the perfectly-paced production, an international cast of more than 80 athletes, dancers, acrobats, and entertainers engage in everything from synchronized swimming to aerial stunt work to jaw-dropping high dives.

Ticket prices start at $99 for splash zones and go up to $179 for the VIP indulgence package, which includes optimum seating, a friendly hostess, chocolate covered strawberries, a bottle of fine champagne, and a private TV screen that shows what’s going on behind the scenes.

Le RÍve performs Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Dark Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For more information, visit www.wynnlasvegas.com or call (702) 770-Wynn.
